Beef Stew

Hearty & Heartwarming


Serves 4

1 lb Organic grass fed chuck roast, cubed  

½ Yellow onion, large dice 

2 Carrots, half moons

4 Golden potatoes, quartered 

8 Crimini mushrooms, quartered 

3 Cloves garlic, minced 

1 Bunch parsley, finely chopped 

1 Cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh) 

1 32 Ounce jar Wishbone Broth

1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbs thyme, minced 

1 bay leaf

1 Tbs Olive oil  

Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a large heavy bottomed pot, heat oil over medium heat. Cook beef until browned on all sides. Set aside. 
  2. In the Same pot cook onions and carrots for 5 minutes. Add the potatoes and mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the garlic and stir until aromatic. 
  3. Add in tomato, worcestershire sauce, thyme, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes. Add the beef back in and pour in the jar of Wishbone Broth. 
  4. Cover and set on low for 30-45 minutes. Stir every so often and check for tenderness and seasoning. 
  5. When beef is tender, stir in ½ of the parsley. Top with parsley to serve. Enjoy!
