Bone Broth Gravy


If you are making a turkey I suggest adding in the drippings from the pan to give the gravy that extra flavor blast.

1 32 ounce jar Wishbone Broth

1 shallot, finely chopped

1 cup crimini mushrooms, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced 

3 springs thyme, de stemmed and minced

2 Tbs butter

1 Tbs cornstarch 

½ bunch parsley, finely chopped 


  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and saute shallots. Stir for 2 minutes and then add the mushrooms, garlic and thyme. Cook on medium heat until the shallots and mushrooms are lightly caramelized. 
  2. Pour in the Wishbone Broth and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced slightly. 
  3. In a separate cup put ½ cup of the hot broth and add the cornstarch. Stir until there are no lumps. Add the mixture into the gravy and stir. Cook for another 5 minutes or until desired consistency is reached. 
  4. Stir in the parsley and serve.
